AEW Dynamite (3/23) Preview: The Hardys are ready to mix it all up in Texas!

It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means!

AEW is ready to bring a tornado to Texas and more on Dynamite tonight on TBS. Here’s everything you need to know.

Seth Rollins will meet Vince McMahon ahead of WWE WrestleMania Raw

The Hardys, Sting and Darby issued a tornado warning for Andrade’s Family Office

Since his early days, Jeff Hardy has helped his brother, Matt Hardy, put things right as he seeks to distance himself from his former AHFO faction. The Hardys got help in the form of an old friend and rival in Sting and Sting’s Hardys-inspired protege, Darby Allin.

In only his second match in AEW, Jeff Hardy will already be involved in a Tornado Tag Team Match as Team Xtreme rolls on again.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman speaks for the first time since the revolution

A lot has happened for MJF since AEW Revolution. He lost his Dog Collar Match to CM Punk thanks to his former bodyguard, Wardlow. Wardlow earned a TNT Championship opportunity last week and MJF made sure his bodyguard didn’t win the title and get a separate contract from the one he has with Maxwell Jacob Friedman.

Now, however, Maxwell has a big enemy.

As the Pinnacle shrinks day by day as FTR kicks Tully Blanchard out and declares no allegiance in this ongoing situation between Wardlow and MJF, Maxwell will speak for the first time tonight and Wardlow is not can – be not far behind.

The return of CM Punk

CM Punk will also return for the first time since Revolution’s Dog Collar Match. Punker made his intentions clear during the post-show media scrum he wants to be world champion. It remains to be seen whether or not he will be able to declare those same intentions on television or if another wrestler will choose to stand in the way of CM Punk’s bid to take back the world title gold.

Blondes usually have more fun, but maybe not tonight.

Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson continue their healing through All Elite Wrestling’s tag team division with William Regal by their side. Tonight they have set their sights on The Varsity Blonds, Brian Pillman and Griff Garrison. Will Blond step in and impress Regal, Danielson or Moxley?

In the past, they’ve shown they have an unbreakable fighting spirit, but these days Danielson and Moxley seem to be doing well in breaking spirits.

Sports Entertainment 101 with the Jericho Appreciation Society

Chris Jericho has fully embraced the world of sports entertainment. To the shock of wrestling fans, so did Daniel Garcia. Now Jericho and Garcia are looking to entertain themselves while stepping into the ring with one of the most entertaining duos in AEW history, John Silver and Alex Reynolds.

As Jericho and Garcia look to reunite as a team for the first time, they have one goal in mind, to entertain you.

Leyla Hirsch and Red Velvet do it again. No aliens in sight

Leyla Hirsch will have the opportunity to avenge her loss to Red Velvet last Friday as she faces Red Velvet again tonight only this time Kris Statlander has been voted out of the ring. With a new Women’s World Champion, both women are looking to end their personal issues and move up the ranks.

Adam Cole and Jay Lethal rekindle an old rivalry

As Adam Cole looks to cement his spot as the next world champion, he looks to the past and someone he defeated for the Ring of Honor World Championship as he takes on Jay Lethal tonight. Will ReDRagon be on his side, what will Hangman do, and how will Jay Lethal use this opportunity to get back into a world title picture?

Both men will be looking to answer all those questions tonight.

That’s all that’s been announced for tonight so far. Thunder Rosa is the new Women’s World Champion, Britt Baker has yet to announce any future career moves for herself, Jade Cargill, Scorpio Sky and Jurassic Express are all looming in the background with their respective championships, and the road to Double Or Nothing in May kicks into high gear.
