ABU DHABI, 12th July, 2022 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with MADE Competence Center I 4.0, part of Italy’s Industry 4.0 ecosystem consisting competence centers and digital innovation hubs, to support sustainable growth and Industry 4.0 applications.

Rashed Abdulkarim Al Blooshi, Deputy Secretary of ADDED, attended the MoU signing ceremony, which took place during the launch of Abu Dhabi’s new industrial strategy at KIZAD. ADDED and MADE will collaborate to raise awareness of opportunities related to Industry 4.0 applications, provide access to best practices, improve the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem and strengthen the technical capacities of the workforce. industry to be ready for transformation through the Industry 4.0 skills development program. .

Cooperation with MADE, the leading business support center for managing innovation, technology transfer, applied research and implementation of Industry 4.0 tools, reflects ADDED’s efforts to improve the ecosystem innovation and entrepreneurship and accelerate the transformation of the manufacturing sector in Abu Dhabi.
