Types and Advantages of Precise Ready Mixed Concrete

Ready-mixed concrete (CMR) is bespoke concrete that is produced in a factory or concrete batching plant to standard standards. The ready-mixed concrete is then transported to the site in transit mixers mounted on trucks. This form of concrete has a longer life and is more durable. The mixture created is precise and of superior quality, because the work is done by an expert supplier. This concrete making technology can also produce specialty concrete combinations.

There are three varieties of ready-mixed concrete (CMR) depending on how the different elements are mixed, as shown below:

Transit Mixed Concrete

Since all essential materials including water are loaded into the mixer truck directly, it is also known as dry concrete. When loading material, the mixing drum rotates rapidly at loading speed before returning to its normal agitation speed. Three types of modifications are possible in this type of ready-mixed concrete, as illustrated below: Concreting on site. The drum is rotated at a slow or choppy speed of 2 rpm while being transported to the destination, but once there, just before unloading the material, it is rotated at a maximum speed of 12 to 15 rpm for about 70 to 100 revolutions to ensure even mixing. In transit, the concrete is mixed during the transit time. The drum speed is kept medium, around 8 rpm for about 70 revolutions. It is slowed down to an agitation speed of 2 rpm after 70 revolutions until the concrete is discharged. In the yard, the concrete is mixed. In the yard, the drum rotates at a high speed of 12-15 rpm for about 50 revolutions. Then the concrete is gradually stirred.

Shrink mixed concrete

During transportation, the concrete is partially mixed in the factory mixer and then balanced in the truck-mounted drum mixer. The amount of mixing done in the transit mixer is determined by the amount of mixing done in the mixing plant. To determine the mixing requirements of the drum mixer, tests must be carried out.

Central mixed concrete

It is also known as a concrete mixing plant because it thoroughly mixes the concrete before loading it into the mixer truck. Wet or premix batch plants are other names for the same plant. The mixer truck simply functions as an agitator when transporting concrete. Non-hustle units or dump trucks can be used where the maneuverability requirement is minimal or the cable is short.

Advantages of ready-mixed concrete

  1. Mechanized activities are used to maintain the speed of construction procedures used in ready-mixed concrete plants. A job site concrete plant with an 8/12 mixer produces 4-5 metric cubes per hour, but a ready-mix concrete plant produces 30-60 metric cubes per hour.
  2. Cement usage can be reduced by 10-12% through better handling and mixing practices. The use of admixtures and other cementitious materials will help reduce the use of cement.
  3. Concrete mix has a wide range of applications. It is installed using the best concrete placement techniques.
  4. Because ready-mixed concrete uses bulk concrete instead of bags of cement, it saves cement and reduces dust.
  5. Conserving cement will save energy and materials.
  6. Less consumption means less cement manufacturing, which means less pollution in the environment.
  7. Construction becomes more durable, improving service life and reducing life cycle costs.
  8. Because the manufacture of ready-mixed concrete relies less on human labor, the risk of human error is reduced. It will also reduce the need for manual labor.
  9. The concrete is delivered on time, in small or large quantities, depending on the specifications.
  10. This eliminates the need for on-site storage of raw materials. There are no delays due to the construction or dismantling of an on-site concrete batching plant, no equipment to rent and free depreciation.
  11. Because less gasoline and diesel is used, noise and pollution are reduced.

Accurate Conchem Pvt. ltd. was established in December 2005, setting up a complete manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art machinery under one roof at Panoli GIDC, Dist: Bharuch in the State of Gujarat, the unit registered as a manufacturer and processing – trading company for building materials, highlighting our group of companies, including M/s Precise Conchem Pvt.Ltd., which deals in the supply of sand and ready-mixed plaster (dry ), providing high-quality building materials despite a short period of industrial research and development, as well as because of customer support and input.
